How To Decrease Windows XP Installer Copying Time Of Files.

Hi guys we all know that installing or reinstalling Windows XP is one of the most boring thing we do in the front of our computer because it takes lot of time to finish. And one of the reason why its taking too long to complete is because the installer copies so many files to the windows directory. That's why I decided to make this guide. This guide will teach you how to decrease the amount of time the installer use to copy the files.

Procedure

The procedure is the same to an ordinary Windows XP installation/reinstallation that you made. The only thing that you need to modify is that after inserting the product key and pressing the next button you need to apply following procedure.
  1. Press SHIFT+F10 to open cmd.exe.
  2. Then type "taskmgr" without the double quotes then press ENTER.
  3. After that task manager will pop up.
  4. Click the process tab.
  5. Then right click setup.exe and choose set priority.
  6. Then click the AboveNormal. The default is Normal.
  7. Close task manager and cmd.exe
  8. Done!
